Easy Allies Podcast #149 - Video

Comments

"Lost Planet" is at least an 8. Make it right Allies. (most likely a 8.7)

Tegan Combatti

I love Huber's new trademark sign off. Does he even have a specific one? It feels like there's a different one every time and the wiki lists several.

Daniel Rona

I like your suggestion, but how is that a correction?

Tyler Travis

Good job this week, happy to be a patreon.

CORRECTION: if you play "No more sevens" again everyone should really say "Deep Six it" or "Make it Eight". Love and respect. ;)

Raven Perez

Kingdom Hearts is pure fanservice and thus porn for Disney fanboys and -girls, you are welcome^^

erni

The opening segment hasn’t always been open to patrons while L&R has. I personally enjoyed the bit although I’m probably in the minority. Regardless I don’t think it’s that serious.

God I would love a new WOW

“Nintendo Switch online is better than PSN” settle down, Ian lol.

Michael Miller

Weird pannel for the KH discussion.

Anontastic

Gonna need that gif of Jones at the end of the podcast in his moment of deeply lost astonished confusion gloriously brought about by Huber. Good job Huber.

MBUN

Here is a quick test for you that can help determine if a game is dumb... Was Nomura involved in the creation of the story? Was the game made in the last ten years? Then yes, it is aggressively dumb.

James Kennedy

This looks really good. I only typically listen to this but have to look at you guys now when I can find the time. Damn.

Sonny Laguna

podcast looks great now btw, i still think the 'window' screens from the stream room should've been in the stage room though, walls are plain af

sam

Yeah, they took care of that lickety-split. Nice job Allies!

iconmaster

Sound has improved dramatically!

Taubel

No Kingdom Hearts is not cool.

NowHoldOnaMinute

studio / production is looking so good!

David Curtis

Hope is restored.

Im sorry i literally skipped the opening 2 min cuz of pro srats only and i will keep doing so in foreseeable future good god is that segment immensely skipable but necessary to keep the podcast above 50 k good god someone please make it stop!!!!! love and respect didnt even start the podcast yet ugh waste of time right right !!!!

John Wingate

This was my concern when Ian took charge on switcher duties. He still chimes in occasionally, but I feel it’s not as much as when he used to sit at the desk. I asked Jones about this on Cup of Jones and he said eventually new allies may learn the switcher if they express interest in doing so, which could free up Ian to get a place at the desk hopefully. Ian can have some great insight.

Corey Swafford

Oh quick sidenote, I wish Kyle would ask Ians opinion for things like he did with Jones and Bloodworth about the legacy of KH3. I get Ian is doing alot (too much at times you nut) behind the scenes so this is totally understandable, but I just would like to hear his opinion on a series he seams quite indifferent towards. I typically find Ian is one of the best allies at separating his passion and emotions from his evaluations of things, even tho he typically doesnt review games. Either way, hearing Ian chime in when he can is great and I would just like more of it.

Jeffrey Tessar

fter watching this podcast, I want to promise Kyle KH3 is a special game that will be talked about for a long time. Hubers new sign off will always remind us of that. TY so much Kyle for doing the right thing and killing that opening segment. Even tho it became a pretty funny back and forth between us and you guys for the last few episodes, it was too much. My sign off? "Every step forward is a step closer to home" ~Sora KH3 my dude! LnR4L

Jeffrey Tessar

might be more enjoyable.

I laughed for a good minute at Jones’ reaction to Huber’s signoff 🤣🤣

Jaclyn

SOMEBODY

I love the new lower thirds graphic at the beginning of the show, where the panel's names are all on there underneath each person. The problem is that it was poorly timed. It is bad to put that graphic on the screen when it's just Kyle on camera, or just Ian on camera. That graphic should've been placed on screen at 0:38, right after Ian was on camera

jif52

At least the interruption served to hopefully close the book on the bad bit.

Cash

I’ve never been irritated at the podcast, not really. But today, when Jones was having what seemed to be a legitimate, interesting opinion and was interrupted by Kyle to continue a stupid bit about a bad segment, I don’t think my eyes have ever rolled so far back.

Matthew Antezana

Unrelated: Ian, what are those burgundy red shoes you have they are dope.

Tom Smith

Kyle nailed that opening head turn camera spike.

Cash

One of the privileges of being a $5+ patron of EZA is submitting questions to L&R and whatever the opening segment is. It's getting pretty frustrating at this point for Kyle to keep asking the paying patrons to submit questions to a segment that's obviously been scripted for weeks now. The patron may have put a lot of thought into the question, but they ignore it and force a dry, formulaic skit into it's place. Some of their best content is reacting to stuff. It's so weird to see them throw away chances to play into that strength.

Dustin McNab

Man. That long con for that pro strats please bit. Worth it I suppose.

cnote51

I can try to convince the pack of studio rats to stop bumping into the tripod

Easy Allies

The camera shakes a lot in this episode, maybe don't do that.
