(posted this on the main podcast comments, but figured I'd repost here as well) Hey Allies (and allies). I thought I'd share this Joy-con drift experience with the community. I had been experiencing intermittent drift on one of my left joy-cons. After seeing the articles on the leaked memo last week, I decided I'd send it in. (I have done controller repairs before, but I figure the more of these Nintendo gets, the more likely a proper re-design permanent fix will be.) I'm in Canada, so Amercian experiences may be difficult. I contracted Nintendo via their repair form on Wed July 24th, had an email reply back from them on the 25th directing me to send it to them via Purolater air freight on their account. I dropped it off with Purolator on July 26th. It was delivered to their Vancouver office on Monday July 29th. I received confirmation that it was repaired on July 31st, and had it back in my hands today, August 2nd. This is pretty close the experience I've had with two previous repairs. The same joy-con was purchased used and had the plastic nub on it won down so it wouldn't lock in place. The original buyer had proof of purchase though, so it was under warranty. I had also shipped my original left joy-con in shortly after the Switch launch due to the known issue with its wireless connection to the console. All in all, I'm pretty pleased. As Kyle points out, it isn't a permanent fix unless they redesign the joy-con or at least the analog stick assembly, but in the meantime this isn't too bad.

Some people might not even watch the video, because “Ew Marvel”
