The Switch is designed to do that, and it gives you everything to do so out of the box. That's the main reason it's called the Switch. Many people never use it as a portable. Many people never use it as a home console. Many people use it as a both. Power isn't very relevant coming from a company that won a generation with an SD console while their competitors were in HD. -Bloodworth

Doh your right. It was the psp. I remember having some special cables for it. To me a system is only a home console if it is designed todo that. A laptop may be able to hook up a mouse, keyboard and an external monitor on a desktop. They may have higher performance while plugged in. This does not make it a desktop pc.

The Vita couldn't hook up to a TV. I know because we had tons of awkward and even slightly painful shoots trying to center the camera over the screen and trying to play without moving the system out of frame or blocking the shot with our heads. I was begging Sony for something with video out. Eventually there was the PlayStation TV which could play many Vita games, but that was a bit of a different product, and it wasn't portable at all. Perhaps the closest thing to a hybrid was the PSP 2000 which did have a video out that made it pretty easy to hook up to a TV. That said, I don't think there were many people that bought a PSP and only played it on the TV. Whereas with the Switch, a lot of people will plug it into their TV, get their Pro controller, and never even think about taking it out of the dock. -Bloodworth

Oh God when Jones started talking about the devs should try to make Halo Infinite an open-world sandbox I almost started convulsing. 343 pleeeeeease don't make Halo and open world sandbox! Keep the integrity of Halo intact! If anything you should be trying to get back to the roots of the series and make a better Halo 2/Halo 3! Jones- keep your open world sandbox shit out of Halo haha. Just go play more GTA or Farcry
