I was kinda hoping you'd not talk about Blizcon; it would have been a good principled statement. Reminds me of a funny line from another podcast I listen to "you're gonna have to lose that integrity if you wanna make it in this business", oh well.

No comment towards the "You better not make us regret the sponsorship", yet? I mean, I get that it's tongue in cheek but... It basically dehyped me extremely about what the sponsor had to offer (Pokémon stream) ...

Just don't give free press to corporations that support dictatorship which suppress free press.

The gdp of the usa is larger than the entire eu. China is worth tons of theoretical dollars but its unsustainable for for foreign companies. The us and north america remains the largest consumer market in the world.

Mai may appear "gaze-y" as Ian put it to an adult. Kids won't know that. And the game has Bayonetta for funks sake. The kids would be able to handle the sight of Mai's bouncing boobs.

Not really a correction, maybe a clarification? From what I understood, Gio Corsi worked with indies primarily as "Director for Third Party Productions and Developer Relations," which kind of put him in that role. Beyond that, whenever he was going on about the Vita, it included a lot of indie talk, but showing renewed focus is great! Love seeing indies on the platform.

I thought Blood's take was thoughtful. Blizzard can't admit that its China-mandated business partner ditched Blitzchung without consulting anyone. So J. Allen Brack read the sucky apology while signaling to US fans that he felt super bad. But since Ian and Kyle dipped their toe in globalism: I'm terrified of a world system that could enforce a single set of shared values. Utopic fantasies aside, odds are slim that humanity would pick the right -ism. Good isn't inevitable; we fall as easily as we rise. I'm pretty sure of my political, social, and economic stances, but the world would be terrible if everyone agreed with me. So I hope modern culture regains an appreciation for negotiated politics between rivals. I hope different countries and nation-states become more open to exchange. I hope people have their different ideas, but let their citizens learn and change and move, if necessary.
