Hahaha Yea, even I felt tired of talking about CP2077 when I was writing that question, so that's completely fair. Also, I love the shades thrown at Yakuza 0 getting in the Hall of Greats lol You look at the list and there are 2 REs, 3 Marios, 2 Zeldas, 2 Souls, etc but Brandon is most displeased with Yakuza. I love it :) Speaking of Yakuza, I was actually thinking of something and I was wondering if it's okay for me to do this, but I think I'll DM you about it on Twitter :) Anyway, personal question: If you somehow magically had all the time in the world to play 5 JRPG series that you haven't really played that much (or at all), what would be your top picks. You have all the time in the world, so you can check out the entire series even if it has 10-15 games in it. Also this isn't for EZA at all, just for your own personal enjoyment, so you don't have to think about games that are good for bringing up on frametrap, etc. SRPGs like "Valkyria Chronicles" or action style JRPGs like "Tales of" are fair game as well. I have strived to always ask a business question each and every week, but here at the end of the year, I thought, for the second time ever, I’d ask a fun, personal preference, “What if…?” question only because you said you might do a personal question focused Cup AND well, it’s the holidays and with that, there’s very little to ask about. SO! The only personal question I remember asking you was what two Batman villains you would like to see square off and who would win, and I think you said Bane would beat Mr. Freeze. Well now to another shared interest: Final Fantasy! I know the Dissidia games allow you to create and play specific matchups, but if you could wish a matchup was a cannon game: Which single protagonist and their supporting party would you like to have another game, be it sequel or wholly original, and what main villain NOT from said character’s Final Fantasy would be the big bad? And if you want to go even crazier, would this “Dream matchup” be in an original world, or a different Final Fantasy setting than either character is known from? To give my personal examples to help: I would love to see Zidane and crew take on Kefka in the world of Final Fantasy VIII, or Cloud and co. face Golbez in Final Fantasy XII’s universe.
