Secret Project

In March we'll be celebrating the 2 year anniversary of this patreon launching--an event for which I've been working on a 'secret project' since the Summer months of last year.

I hope at this point it's obvious how continually lucky I am to have all of you backing me here, providing input, suggestions, and encouragement, thereby enabling me to be creating maps at the caliber that I do now. While my love for creating artwork and maps specifically for our D&D campaigns would likely exist regardless of a patreon page, it is quite seriously all of your financial support that's allowed me to invest my time as heavily as I have over the last two years and truly push myself and my maps to place that I wouldn't have reached otherwise.

As a part of reflecting on where we've been together thus far and where I'd like Venatus Maps to go from here it is natural that I consider how to continuously improve the supporters' side of the experience. Creating large Asset Packs, constantly trying to cater to the thematic desires of the group via polls, supplementing WotC content while weaving my own setting together, and building our Reddit landing page for more easily organizing posts are all examples of how I've tried to do that previously.

This 'Secret Project' that I'll be announcing next month will simply be the next iteration of that goal: improving the quality of experience of the DMs and Players who support me. That being said, it is a little more ambitious than other things I've implemented previously and is going to (slightly) change the exact nature of this patreon page moving forward after next month.

More information on that to come as we approach our 2-year mark, but know that I'm excited for what's to come and am genuinely, regularly honored and so proud of the support you all have given me thus far.
