Naivyra's Cottage

Heya people,

This weekend I have the pleasure of presenting to you Naivyra's Cottage, a beautiful location I spent a lot of time on in collaboration with a fellow $5 patron. A combination of isometric views and top-down battle map gives the DM and players alike an immersive understanding of this location.

I really enjoyed getting to fit in all of the characteristic details of the cottage's resident--a firbolg named Naivyra. From the obsidian pieces used as decoration, the patterned rugs, lanterns, and tank for keeping fish this map comes with plenty of visual accompaniments to really help flesh out your verbal description.

Whether you need something for a player to return 'home' to or as a representation for an NPC your players are visiting, hopefully this map will be exactly what you need. In the pack below you'll find an option without a grid as well as isolated PNG files of the ground floor, upper floor, and exterior.

Enjoy!

Oh, ha, yeah, I meant more like an art pack where the user could move and build, like the art pack you were talking about. Also agree it would be a niche in a niche. Thanks for answering, was mostly just curious since I don't have the art knowledge for the process myself.

This is absolutely amazing, it's even better than we could have imagined it to be! Thanks so much for the incredible work!!

I personally lack the technical expertise to build the software, though I’m sure that there are plenty of other preexisting versions out there that would accomplish such a feat. In any case building a library of isometric assets is definitely something that’s intrigued me for a long time, but is difficult to take on due to the daunting nature of it and the fact that a significant percentage of the user-base would probably not have a use for them. Perhaps in the future when I feel I’ve started to exhaust my options for top-down assets.

Love this and will be using on Monday!

This is fantastic! Really like the idea of the home base or dwelling of the groups and characters being really fleshed out and have multiple views to them. Would a 3D isometric room builder be tough to pull off? The assets would have to all be done to be viewed from multiple angles (multiple versions) to make it work I think? Would be really cool though to have a setup that could be customized for some locations.
