Welcome to the ~3rd annual patron survey~ (*cheers and applause*)! Started in 2019 and again in 2020, this survey is my way of "checking back in" with you all as a large, overall group of wonderful people. I am asking that all willing patrons kindly consider taking a moment to respond to the survey linked above no later than September 15, after which point it will close for submissions.
To more formally gather feedback and input from patrons that will directly allow me to reflect on recent changes and updates as well as influence the trajectory of future content in the year ahead.
While there aren't a ton of questions and the whole thing shouldn't hopefully take you more than a minute or two, your time is valuable and I genuinely appreciate you spending a small part of it to help give me insight to your wants & needs! As a thank you all participants will be sent a free bonus map at the end of the survey period (sept 15) as well as a participant-only invite to contribute to a community-generated map prompt.
After the survey closes (sept 15) I will be compiling the data for analysis and in the case of written responses, reading through each and every one (often times more than once). The data will then be shared back out to all of you alongside my interpretations of the results, confirmations on the things we're doing right, as well as my data-backed reasoning for why anything may be changing or experimented with in response to your input.
I've tried to keep this as streamlined as possible for ease--those of you who indicate your use of assets will be asked some asset-specific questions on page 2, while those of you who indicate you only use the maps will skip ahead to the 3rd and final page. Lastly, while these annual surveys are super helpful for getting me an accurate sense of where the community has needs and desires, it is far from the only way of making suggestions or giving feedback. Thanks again!!
