Happy Christmas <3

Hey everyone! I wanted to write in and just say I hope everyone has the happiest Christmas and enjoys these few days whatever you choose to do with them. I'd have liked to have written in earlier this week but oh my God I was so sick this whole past week and basically lost a week of my life for it. Which is a real shame because I was hoping to finish another one of the songs for my album before Christmas rolled around, but unfortunately wasn't able to. Better to leave it for another day than to force myself to do a shitty job, though.

For Christmas I'm back home in Essex for a few days. It's my dad's 69th birthday today (!) so we're just chilling out and eating good food. My mum, brother, and SIL won't be joining us for Christmas this year so we're gonna end up with a pretty relaxed couple of days before I see my extended family on the 26th, as per tradition for us. We spent last night showing each other music we're both working on and talking about synthesisers, so go figure.

It's not New Year yet, so perhaps a little premature to be reflecting back on 2024, but I want you to know how grateful I am to all of you for being here. The money I get through Patreon from your direct support is money I directly reinvest into my music project. This year that's notably allowed me to pay for merch designs and to have them printed (don't forget you can grab my stickers very cheaply from my Bandcamp!), and pay an artist for a design contributing to the album artwork that you'll see this coming year. My hope is that in the future I can invest into photoshoots and music videos to help bring my music to life.

At the start of the year my aim was to put out as much music as I could on as frequent a basis as I could. I had an idea for an EP which I fell quickly out of love with, and the voice in my head telling me to write an album got louder. I'm glad I ultimately chose to listen to that voice, as I've never felt more sure about a music project before. I can't believe in 2025 it will finally be introduced to the world!
