She-Ra episode 20--Reunion, Part 2!

That was very good. Bow’s dads were very fun characters, and it’s so cool to see canon lgbt rep treated and handled well. They were great characters with a good amount of depth. Getting a good look at Bow’s family and where he came from was a delight; I’ll confess I don’t usually find Bow very interesting, but this episode changed that a lot.

As for Catra...well. She’s pretty much screwed, isn’t she? I don’t know how she gets out of this with anything at all. Definitely not her command.

Hrm. I wonder if Catra getting exiled would make Scorpia go rogue. That would be interesting.

And...Shadow Weaver! We’re right on the verge of a payoff for her! And right as I’m setting She-Ra aside for a while, too! Damn.

All in all, a very good episode. Reunion comes in at my new #2 for Seasons 2-3, between White Out and Light Spinner, and my new #3 overall, between Light Hope and Promise. Man, this season did not start out very well, but it’s got a nice pack of great episodes now. I hope that carries over into Season 3.

Up next is going to be this month’s Patron Picks! We’ll actually be going straight into next month’s Patron Picks after that, it looks like, but once those are done...Mob Psycho 100! I’m really looking forward to that.

Streamwise, I haven’t done anything in almost a month...I really need to get on that. I’m debating whether the next thing I stream will be a continuation of Final Fantasy IX or diving into Dragon Age Origins. Stay tuned for that!
