👀 First look at an RTS Campaign

This has taken me about 4 weeks to build in total.
It's a showcase to let you get a feel for how it will play out.
There is AUTO mode for those who don't like RTS or just want to sit back and watch.
There is much more I want to add, but suggestions very welcome!
Tell me what you liked and what works well, so i can ensure i keep it in.
It was a slog to get to this point; this was by far the hardest of all the dev in the game so far...but I think i've made escape velocity 🎉
Wow, it took a lot out of me to get it all fitted together; but that's phase 1 complete. The next 2 weeks is sole focus on the Demo.

2024-07-16 21:00:18 +0000 UTCDon't worry, she'll feed you! Good question, so as you can see, throwing forces is...insane! As the game progresses you develop strategies. At first its use of waypoints, terrain (like gravity sinks etc.). Later when base building, if someone tries to rush you, your defences will cause them aggregious pain. So then there will be options like, cyber attacks, re-inforcement drops via nano micro assemblies and later transport hubs. Making use of the dispersion networks. New units will offer new capabilities too, such as stealth ships, EMP ships (in that case you really don't want to run your fleet into another so close if they have EMPs). Mine layers litter the battlespace with undetectable charges, some can home in - so you'll need mine clearers. Even in clear open space, there will be a 'formation' toggle, that lets you group up your units into box formations; slowing them down but increasing their overall range.

2024-07-16 20:12:46 +0000 UTCAh, I don't want to spoil too much! But it will be the first 7 to 10 chapters. You'll get familiar with many of the crew, and the game style. But its just a demo the 'new mode' wont be on this one yet. There will be a little RTS, minigames, explorer mode though!
