At the beginning of this episode, I was slightly panicked. While looking at the play button picture, I could see something moving! Took me a minute to realize it was the reflection of the ceiling fan! Low key scared!๐

HUGE fan of it! but i have to say the series wasnt bad at all! i actually quite like it. u'll c some scenes are exactly like the comics panel! but of course sum tings needs 2 b adapted, and i think they did it quite well! so its worth the watch

2022-11-23 04:33:14 +0000 UTCI remember reading a few comics when I was little, but never paid it much mind until I had a Pokemon loving anime son (though I'm forever a fan of Sandman and The Walking Dead). He got me into watching anime and we both starting to dive into graphic novels and manga. He's forever fussing at me to watch Naruto, but I've yet to do it. Currently, our anime picks are Demon Slayer, Bleach, Jujutsu Kaisen, and the new one Chainsaw Man. My personal fave was my first anime, Attack on Titan (do you ever forget your first?)

There are some episodes I personally didnโt enjoy as much as others, usually when there is a culture/knowledge barrier on top of a language barrier. But Iโm glad you enjoyed this for the most part and canโt wait to watch your reaction to the next one! (Which Iโm about to do right now since Iโm behind and catching up ๐)

2022-10-26 02:40:38 +0000 UTCWanted to say that the part when they're guessing the anime quotes and it's like "NaruX" they're talking about Naruto, but because of their advertisement restrictions they can't say the name in the on-screen text! So anything with "X" after it in the subtitles here is like a censored version of a comic title. They use "X" interchangeably with a large "O" in Korean script to indicate missing/substituted syllables in a phrase. For example, when they have to guess the missing parts of the comic quotes here, the missing parts they have to guess are indicated by "OOO", much like we'd use "_ _ _" in English to show how many letters are missing. So in this censoring style, Naruto (๋๋ฃจํ ) would be written as "๋๋ฃจX" or "๋๋ฃจO" to avoid using the full name. Similarly, whenever they say out loud what sounds like "deng" near a brand/title, that's the sound they use when they're censoring a name in speech (saying "deng deng deng" for example would indicate they're replacing three syllables from the name). e.g. "Naru-[deng]", "Fullmetal [deng-deng-deng]", "Dragon [deng]". You'll hear/see this a fair bit in other videos in the future, and I thought you guys should know! Love your reactions as always!

Two of my favorites are Fukigen na Mononokean (The Morose Mononokean) and Fruits Basket. I also prefer manga to anime. Little FYI, if you didn't already know, but Japanese comics are manga, Korean comics are manwha.
