It might seem a bit early to worry, but Butteryshake is moving to Japan next year, which will slow the progress of this game like a BITCH. Like, even moreso than right now while she's working full-time and taking a class.
Admist all that, I keep feeling like I need better rewards for my $10 patreons, because right now the special role in discord has only given back some sneak previews of art every once in a while, and not nearly enough to justify it. AND it's mid-October when I was certain this new demo would be out early October.
I delayed this update because, to be honest, I'm ashamed. It's not just these circumstances that have me dejected, but my own progress on writing, slowed down by my constant need to make something better when maybe it doesn't need to be.
...Oh, don't get me wrong, this game will be made come hell or high water. I'm just bummed out right now.
I guess I just needed to say something right now because you all deserve to know what's going on since you're following what I've been doing and that means the world to me.
That's all. I might make a poll regarding what rewards I should give for $10 next Thursday...
...Or I'll have a post within the next 24 hours saying that the demo is done, which is exactly what happened the last time I made such a sad post.
Hmmmmmmmm.... Here's hoping that the pattern continues!

Things happen, and we can't control every single factor. I've played the demos released so far, and I believe that they have been quality each time. Don't sell yourself short, because I believe you're doing a great job so far. You care, and you have nothing to be ashamed of.
