Character Sheets
Added 2023-06-14 23:04:22 +0000 UTCSable Unlimited is a game world based on a rules system that I have been working on while writing the story itself. I'm doing this so readers who like those crunchy stat blocks and see just what the characters are and how they're progressing. I think that's important to good character development in a LitRPG novel.
So today I decided to spend a little time creating character sheets for my the two central characters in Book I: Lefty & Calista.
As you can see, I'm working on Calista first. She's the higher level of the two, so she's been taking quite a while. There's a lot of math involved in translating the game mechanics (which are based on die rolls) and advancing the stats using a point-buy system that's based on experience.
Soon I hope to upload these stats. Royal Road readers will get a bare bones character sheet, while Subscribers to Patreon will get the full character sheet, what Lefty & Calista's special abilities are, their Advantages & Compensations, character backstories, their in-game contacts (NPCs & PCs), and Item stats (and possibly more).
These should be considered rough drafts as I'm still developing the game system, and so any and all feedback and suggestions are welcome. I love to hear the thoughts and creative ideas of my readers. I read every comment and so let me know what you think.
