Idk yea they trash talk them to their face but its like when we were slaves, some people are just that brainwashed plus what are they gonna do? Speak against them and get them or their families killed? I think even if they dont believe in marley REALLY they just want a good life for their family

Especially in this episode, we see two instances of him caring for the Eldians in his own way...the first when Udo tells company in the city that the commander told them not to go to a certain part of town as it is not safe for kids (but a battlefield is totally cool?!); and the other instance on the midnight train when he allows the Eldians to celebrate their victory boisterously. He has his own unique way of interacting with Eldians in spite of being a Marleyan

No shade to other reactors, but it is legit torture watching people either forget VERY important details, have things fly over their head, or just think because an episode doesn't have action it's "filler." Btw the toilet guy was Connie, the selfish guy was Jean, the guy who only cared for others was Marco, and yeah last one with Eren, Armin and Mikasa

2020-12-14 16:09:59 +0000 UTCOh, I like the fact that you caught that Zeke despite all his accomplishments, his unrivaled titan powers and overall "contributions" to Marley still gets little respect, has to ask politely before speaking, still lives in the ghetto and still is a 2nd class citizen. What a way to live. Again, I love how you caught that the animation was different. I loved the movement of the "camera", how "animated" the charaters were, the individual body language of each character, just like in real life. It did look a bit weird and derpy at some points, but i give props to MAPPA for experimenting with something new. Fantastic. Edit number fucking 2: Y'all even remembered Grice. I'm done. I had to be reminded of that. I wonder if they're his sons, nephews or something. Maybe even grandchildren. I love how Reiner, in his own way reminded Falco not to let his mouth loose too much and be careful who he voices his thoughts to. Reiner might feel the same way but he's not gonna voice those thoughts to someone he barely knows, especially in a room filled with a bunch of people who might overhear them. I think Reiner talking about the crew at the dinner table was his own way of subtly piercing through the propanganda to his family, or maybe he's losing it and started reminiscing on accident. Either way that was an interresting scene seeing how deeply indotrinated they are, the feelings of abandonment and betrayal some Eldians harbor and how Gabi (probably) realized the gravity of what she went through and that she almost died when she trailed off while telling everyone how she saved the day before powering through her story. Amazing direction and storytelling. Also there was a guy (probably one of the guys suffering from PTSD) who commited suicide by jumping off the roof right after that moment, we see people gathered outside looking presumably at his body. It was a blink and you miss it moment.
