It is a feature-length anthology of their best sketches from the TV show, in most (if not all) cases actually re-filmed and generally improved upon. I watched every episode of Flying Circus for the first time during covid and that was a bit of a slog, but for me the movies and that anthology are great.

It's pretty close to the final episode with mostly dialogue changes and a few extra scenes. At least in this script, I can confirm that Homer doesn't pull the Dean around with his car (pretty sure Mirkin was just joking on the commentary), and it does end with Homer getting away with cheating. Another quick bit of trivia: If the George Meyer script files are accurate, Conan was on his way to the record for Bart's Inner Child when he got the call for Late Night (Monday, April 26, 1993). This was also Mike Scully's first day at the Simpsons; he remembers shaking hands with Conan right before Conan left to take THE phone call.
