July 5th.
Added 2024-06-29 12:25:12 +0000 UTCThat's the release date for update 1.7, yep. Well, give or take a day or two if I can get it done a little faster or if I need to fix some bugs. Okay, let me give you a brief... erm, progress report?
Draft - 100% (631 pages);
Translation - 100%;
Arts and stuff - 100%;
Conversion to the game - 470 pages are already in playable form and tested. Another 160 pages are left, respectively.
If anything, 631 pages are along with the 1.69 update. I didn't make a separate draft for it as if this is a new update because it's a continuation and progression of events after 1.6 (the jumpers' attack). But considering that 1.69 ended somewhere around ~300 pages into the draft, here's the rest of the stuff that is precisely 1.7.
Huh, so much for "yeah I'll just finish 10%". In reality, it turned out to be a full 300+ page update (which is about the average length of most previous updates).
Given the rate of adding about 20-30 pages a day to the game, I set the release date for July 5.
And all sorts of things.
Out of one planned and one possible lewd scene, only the one that was originally planned came into play. And considering how big it got... You could say it ate the second scene and got bigger, hah, in every way possible... Actually, the reason the second scene largely didn't make it into the game is that as I worked on the first scene (and it grew, with a possible continuation in the next episode), the second scene started to look less and less believable and create a whole bunch of conflicts in the narrative. So I had to get rid of it.
I probably should have shut up about it at the end of the month... But, the next update, as an exception, will go immediately public. That's what I promised when I thought "I just need to finish 10%". Who knew that external factors would cause an emergency update (1.69), and that 1.7 would turn out to be 300+ pages? But I don't want to take back the given word so here it goes. I just hope this doesn't backfire on me badly.
There is a secret (or half-secret?) scene. The path to which is not obvious. It's not very complicated, though, so you may well bump into it accidentally, that's quite possible. This scene may reveal aspects of lore that, under other circumstances, Selene wouldn't learn in any way. For the near future, at least.

I love the lore so much!

2024-07-01 00:35:07 +0000 UTCThat scene isn't tied to Origins or Abilities, so don't worry. If anything could prevent it from being found, it's either its non-obviousness or the specifics of your roleplay... I mean, some Selenes are too quick in making decisions and judgments. That can get in the way sometimes, yes.

2024-06-29 21:56:05 +0000 UTC[^-🙋-^] Hi to you D.E.!&! Totally agree with DamnedFrog's statement!!! And so: just for tell you that I'm VERY hypped by the secret scene!!!!! Yeah, yeah; really I love that when you offer us this opportunity... I wish that my noble Selene (and my survivor too of course) will be able to unlock this new feature, especially since I am interested in knowing more and more about the LORE of your fantastic universe;-🤓)!!!!!!! That aside, (more seriously) I believe that I see very well what you mean with this sentence: << I just hope this doesn't backfire on me badly. >> Well, I also hope for you that this new update will be favorably received by the gaming community and that you will not lose some customers again... But you're right: a promise IS a promise, isn't it? I think it's very good that you keep your word on this subject, cause anyone who doesn't keep their promises has no integrity and certainly deserves to be seen as a truly < liar >. I intentionally point out it because it deserves to be said, in order that the people who read me here on your Patreon simply reflect for two minutes about my words... To conclude: for all that, a huge thanks to you D.E. [^👍+❤️^]

2024-06-29 19:18:25 +0000 UTCThanks! Well, all I can say is that you can indeed accidentally bump into this scene, given a certain sequence of actions. Okay, I'm shutting up. Or I'll spoil everything.

2024-06-29 18:38:13 +0000 UTCThanks for the near future update! But when I'll play the new update, I will be obsessed by this secret scene. So, no thank you. :-) On another note, I hope you and your relatives are OK.
