Love that movie! He's great in comedy as you say. If you haven't seen him in Change-Up, Office Christmas Party, Bad Words, Indentity Thief, those are really good too. He has a bigger filmography than people realize.

2024-12-13 20:14:51 +0000 UTCThe guy at the lumber mill that Marty spoke to about the casino is a state senator. He's the one that said something about the "lake house". Charles Wilkes, the guy that Wendy bumps into and spilled champagne on owns the lake house and is a businessman with a lot of power and influence. Nothing gets done in that part of Missouri without him backing it. He has money and connections. The guy that came to Marty and Wendy in their new office is Charles Wilkes's attorney/fixer.

2024-12-11 21:03:43 +0000 UTCThe feds' idea was to arrest Del for some bullshit, and then already have Marty in custody to make it look like Marty had been spillin secrets, therefore forcing Marty to actually spill secrets for witness protection. If Darlene hadn't blown Del's head off, Del and Marty probably would have been picked up together in the SUV, both safe in the knowledge of the new plan, so the feds' ruse wouldn't have worked. So Darlene didn't do anybody any favors by killing Del. I just wanted to clarify that for y'all.

Hell, she married into the family, yet she defends the Snell name like they flooded HER ass out or something too. Jacob needs to reign her ass in...but I bet she was a wildcat when she was like 22, so maybe that's what Jacob fell for.

When you become a U.S. Senator, is when the insider trading tips and kickbacks come in to play and you start making those millions.
