World Debut: The Sun Card!

Sorry for the late night post, but I just finished!

Don't Caitlin and Matthew look radiant? I've been working on this for the last three days... and it's finally finished! At one point I considered drawing a traditional Sun Card face. It was super simple to draw, but it just looked like I was copying. I tried to stylize it (pictures below) but any of the other smiles I made looked weird. Open mouth, showing a little bit of teeth, etc. All day long I tried to draw different faces.

I even found some photos of Best, and used him for reference.

The problem is Best has sharp features compared to the wide set eyes from the original card. It looked...off. Even if I made it sharper, more realistic, less realistic, softer, etc... a cartoon face and real bodies just didn't mesh.

Since all of that work got lost, I thought I'd share some of my experimentation!

I really loved the lips below, but it made it seem like the Sun was lusting after the models... and that would just be weird, wouldn't it? :P
