2022 Month by Month Recap - Part One

What a weird year, right? Much of it, none of us could predict, but there was some good to be found. Art was created, and I finally released my long awaited Tarot Deck. I travelled a lot, experienced loss, and managed to remain single!

90 percent of the Kickstarter has been fulfilled, and many of the pre-orders are on the way. I showed my Tarot Deck at a book store, and planted the seed at others. The next evolution will be the Digital Deck, which I plan on developing in January.

What about body paintings? There were lots of those too! Including favorites like Tannor Reed, Bennett Wood, Victor Love, and even some fun returns like Matthew Jefferies. Of course Bennett started the year with this beautiful painting:

JANUARY

The year technically started, hanging out with Jeff Brutlag the night before! A Streamer and friend over the years. Neither of us wanted to be alone, but we also didn't want to go out. So we played video games until January 1st.

Just a few days later, and it was my birthday. I celebrated with Jerome, Alex, Cassie, Leif, and Wade. It was a nautically themed bar, and I can't stress how much it meant to have them there.

I also decided to create an OnlyFans to poke fun at getting older. Strangely enough, it ended up being a huge success, and at the highest peak it was in the top 5%. Not too bad for an artist my age. <3

I was then invited to paint at Dillard's, where I created this colorful creation on Spencer Llewelyn. Everyone there loved it, and the customers were happy!

A few days after that, I jumped into the car and headed to San Diego, where I painted Coach Nic in his home. Honestly I had a lovely time, and wish I could of stayed in the city longer! Plus the food is great, and the scenery... divine.

I then drove to LA and painted the always lovely Tannor Reed! After I wrote this, I realized I'm going to need to break up my recap into multiple parts.

I always have a great time working with Tannor, and this was the second of three times we have made art together.

Then I worked with longtime friend Joey Suarez! He has made a career from modelling, music, and more!

I started and finished a new painting while visiting artist Ben Gill! He says I have the fastest paint brush in the west, but he's faarrrrr more talented than I. Still, I'm pretty happy with this Angler Fish I made using Acrylics and a new technique he taught me during our session.

Here I am in Ben's home. He did a Portrait of me some time ago, and it still hangs on the wall! He's even got intentional "Brandon Blue" vibes going on.

A few days later, I painted my face, and Leif photographed me!

Shortly after that, I painted my good friend M, and did this Dali inspired painting on his back. The front was kind of goofy looking... :P

Wow! January was packed. Surely the rest of the year can't be that crazy?

I promise not to make 12 posts back to back, but this concludes Part 1!

Ready for more? The next parts will include stuff nobody has seen yet! Thank you for your support, and I hope you look forward to more art and entertainment in the coming year. I have so much MORE I want to build. THANK YOU for believing in me... a silly artist from Arizona. <3
