The Face of No-Face

Hello Super Friends! I'm dropping an extra special post today! Not only am I sharing brand new photos of No-Face, but I'm showing you how I made the mask!

But first, who is the face behind "No-Face"? For this  body painting, I asked Dylan to bring this legendary figure from Miyazaki's Spirited Away to life.

Dylan is a photographer, writer, musician, singer, actor, and model!

This multi-talented friend also happens to be available for sponsorship, with 75% of the proceeds going toward him!

Do you like the fabric we chose for No-Face? You couldn't see through it when I painted Dylan black, but when it was just his bare skin, I think it looks quite beautiful, don't you agree?

Then again, Dylan is pretty without the ghostly cloak as well! The mask is featured here! Speaking of which, so how did I make it?

Originally I planned on ordering one from Amazon and just building on top... but guess what?! They don't sell just the mask! You have to buy an whole costume, including an opaque black outfit that looks like it belongs on a nun. Not a body painting!

So I went to Michaels... got a Unicorn face mask (it was the most basic option actually), chopped off it's ears and horn, and glued on the paper cut out mask.

And honestly, it came out pretty great! What do you think?

Thank you for supporting my Patreon, and I hope you enjoyed this mega post! Have a safe and wonderful weekend, my friends.

Love + Art,

-Brandon
