Taking Flight

Good Evening! The desert winds bring gifts, in the form of new photos of the statuesque Edwin! One of the few models I've worked with that's taller than ME!

This shoot was done to test out the new wings I just built... though I never need an excuse to work with him. He's always a glorious human, and talented at his craft.

That's right, he's also a makeup artist, on top of being a runway model.

Edwin is one of the few people who has done MY makeup as well, which makes him pretty cool in my book. And what a beat it was! Anyway, ready to see more of the body art?

It's pretty minimal since we were focused on the wings, but I still think it's cute:

It has a chaotic quality which is certainly filled with movement!

The lighting played a big part of this photoshoot, making it both hard to capture (which I would later experience on stage) but also SUPER dreamy!

Some of these components would later appear on stage during my Fan Fusion presentation, but it's fun to see how things came together beforehand! In fact, you can see that the tops of the wings aren't quite finished, but look really close in the next image:

So what did you think of this behind the scenes look of Edwin, as I prepared for the big convention! The wings themselves are cut using a Wire Cutter!

Thanks to a really kind soul, I now have my own! <3 Just imagine all the cool things I can (continue to) build! Hope you are feelings inspired today, and thanks for supporting my imagination. I'll never forget it <3
