2024-09-24 15:13:10 +0000 UTCLast time i had to upgrade my pc, i asked my local IT team (aka any discord full of trans women) where to look and was told that buying refurbished is often a great way to save money and reduce electronics waste while you're at it, so after a good bit of digging i ended up getting an upgraded motherboard, processor,, and ram all for like $300 on eBay (at least i think it was eBay). Given, that was a really lucky find, and I'm not sure what you need ofc, but if you don't need the tippy-top of the line stuff then it could be a good way to go. Sorry I can't offer more help, but I hope maybe this was useful info, or at least wasn't just mansplaining the obvious lol
