Delilah & the Athame
Added 2020-09-09 04:43:14 +0000 UTCI’ve been working some more on this concept, and I’m starting to like the direction it’s taking. I’m planning on drawing some more advanced transformation stages for her. This is Delilah, wielder of an ancient magical artifact called the Athame. She is a combat operative of the Expurgatory, a multinational coalition dedicated to the containment of demonic activity.
The Athame can be used to grant it’s user supernatural strength, but that power comes with other monstrous qualities. The more someone uses it, the more pronounced and permanent those changes become. Delilah has been using the Athame to hunt monsters for her whole life, and struggles with the unsettling fact that she enjoys her transformations.
Delilah is intended to be a rival for Vara, on opposite sides of a large scale conflict. I see them as nemeses with benefits.

Yeah, cursed might not be the exact right term haha. But yeah, this concept has kind of evolved in my head over time. I did want to do something a little different from most of the art I’ve made already, while still respecting my mission statement of making TFs that the subject is choosing to undergo. I thought about making it a more dark demonic weapon, but I wanted to create more of a contrasting foil for Vara.

2020-09-09 04:53:47 +0000 UTCOooh... very different brand of trasnformation than Iw as expecting for a cursed sword, but I'm liking it. The mottled speckles of the horn / spike / scale what have you creates a lovely color variation on her skintone, almost like a vitiligo look? I can't wait to see what kind of creature she becomes when she really taps into the sword's power. As for the Expurgatory... a men-in-black type containment agency seems like a good fit... especially if their agents are the type to use controlled artifacts and transformations to fight fire with fire...
