Oh, definitely not. My characters lean into their urges and embrace the monster, but they’re still themselves the whole time. Judith is playfully taunting Farbright, but legitimately offering him the chance to leave if they don’t want to participate. If they couldn’t physically run, Judith would find other options to make sure they can opt out. Judith is enjoying this so much because she’s beaten Farbright to the prize, and now Farbright is choosing to stay and watch her. It wouldn’t be at all satisfying to her if Farbright wasn’t there by choice.

My idea for this comic was to portray a pair of rivals that have a long-standing sexual tension, which is finally released as Judith turns into a monster. It’s a tricky dynamic where both participants start off hating each other, but both succumb to their desires and end up both consenting to what happens. I totally get how this could be seen as non-consensual though, since I left Doctor Farbright silent as a way to let people insert themselves as the main character. If this comic isn’t comfortable for you to read, I completely understand. You absolutely don’t have to read it, for any reason whatsoever. I’m totally happy to refund your patreon pledges if you want to unsubscribe. I can also notify you when it’s done, in case you want to just block this comic out!
