Ice Age Megafauna - Cover & Checkout Record
Added 2023-03-10 00:46:23 +0000 UTCI actually went to a big library and took photos of book covers and inner pages to use in these. This checkout record is made from the oldest book I found, dated 1938! All the history and marks made by people reading these books are so cool to me.

2023-03-10 21:39:14 +0000 UTCI found a few others from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, so I think it might be legit! The stickers were probably a later addition, and it looked like they may have been rebound. The 5 cent per day late fee seems period appropriate also.

2023-03-10 04:15:22 +0000 UTCHaving been alive during the Ice Age... er.... 80's when the other stamps are from and when such things were in use, someone probably just rotated the numbers to get the 1938 date considering all of the others start in '86. I do love seeing those though! I remember being in grade school and looking through them in text books and library books and finding older siblings and parents of other kids, neighbors, and teachers!
