Rendering Walkthrough Tutorial! โœ๏ธ my full process ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿ’•

Hellooo everyone! ๐Ÿฅฐ I hope youโ€™re doing well today:)

Here is a new tutorial for you!! ๐Ÿฅณ This month the topic that won the tutorial poll was a rendering walkthrough video, which is super different from my usual tutorials because I explain everything Iโ€™m doing in real-time while I draw :) So no voiceover! The video is also a bit longer (1 hour) so get cozy with a snack and a drink or draw along with me :) ๐Ÿงก

I use my custom soft render brush for all my rendering, which you can find and download in this post ๐Ÿ’Œ

Other content to check out after this one:

I love you all!! And I hope you find the video helpful and useful for your own work ๐Ÿฅฐ Feel free to ask any questions in the comments or via DM and Iโ€™ll be happy to help! Have a happy week ~

Love,

Lydia ๐Ÿ’•

This was so different! From all your walkthrough videos Iโ€™m used to seeing you shade in grayscale first then turn everything red before rendering. May i ask why you changed it up? I love your art!

Hello. I have a question. When you are doing the overall first shade tone at around 11:30 minutes in on a multiply layer, you erase it and then color grab to brush it back in. When I do this on that layer it always seems to be darker than the color I am selecting, but on your video it is the color you want. Is this somehow due to the brush type, older procreate setting, or why? I know multiply darkens the color, so how are you putting down the exact color?
