What’s in my Tote Bag 🎒 artist edition! + Happy July 💌✨

Helloooo everyone and happy first day of July! 😍

I want to start off the month with sharing all the things I carry in my art tote bag! 🎒✨ I love going out to draw in public spaces like coffee shops and cozy bookstores, especially since my job is at home and I like to have a change of scenery once in a while :) So here are my artist essentials that I carry around in my bag when I go out to draw! ✏️

Even though I mainly draw digitally, I like to bring a small lightweight sketchbook in case I feel like sketching something :) The stickers on the cover are from Apple Cheek’s shop!

Since I bring a sketchbook, I need to also bring a couple traditional art tools which I carry in a pencil case that I got from Amazon :) Inside the case I’ve got a couple copic markers, some pens, a mechanical pencil, some washi tape and some hand sanitizer 🫧

Another thing I carry in my pencil case is this Apple Pencil grip from uppercase! They gifted me a few of their grips and I love using them 😍

One of my absolute essentials is my AirPods! Sometimes drawing in public spaces can be noisy or distracting (or the coffee shop just so happens to be playing a song that makes you CRINGE and you don’t wanna bring that negative energy into your drawing 😤) so having my own music while I draw helps me to focus and dwell in my own bubble 😌

An obvious essential is my wallet, and I wanted to get a cute one so I got this one from Apple Cheeks! 🍎

I also always carry a little skin care and makeup with me if I’m planning to be out for a while and it helps me to keep feeling fresh throughout the day :) The lip tint and eyeshadow palette are both from Glossier (which I LOVE), and I like the first aid beauty lotion for my hands and face :)

Not really an essential but I like to have a hair clip with me to keep my hair out of my face while I draw sometimes too :)

Ok the screen smudges haunt my screen CONSTANTLY 😤 so I always bring a cloth to clean my screen! This one is my favorite, it’s for glasses but works really well for my screen too :)

Last but not least I bring my iPad! :) It’s the 2022 iPad Pro 12.9 inch, 1 TB 💕

So those are my essentials!! They make going out to draw in public much more fun and comfortable :)
