WIP: Pillow ☁️ + adding a filter to your art to increase richness! 🌸

I caught a cold so I’ve been trying to rest, but I wanted to show you guys my current WIP! I’m having so much fun painting with all these warm pink tones 😍 Full process is being recorded for you guys, so you’ll get to see how I color & render her from start to finish in a new real-time video later this weekend! :)
I also wanted to show you guys something I do occasionally to increase the richness of my colors, and that’s adding a filter in VSCO! I make my own filters but sometimes I’ll just adjust the colors manually in the app to create a color palette that I’m more satisfied with :) When I‘m done adjusting the colors/adding a filter to the drawing, I’ll send the image back to my iPad and from there I can lower the opacity of it on top of my old drawing, which can create a “tint” over the piece :) Other times I won’t lower the opacity though and I’ll just use the new image as my new base to continue working on it! I definitely recommend trying it out on your own work 🥰
