Digital Sketch & Feature Friday!
Added 2019-07-12 16:56:31 +0000 UTCHappy Friday everybody! Here's a digital sketch I'm currently working on :) Some of you may recognize her, but for those of you who need a hint, she's a character from one of my favorite shows called Stranger Things!
As you can see it's just gray scale right now, but I will be adding color on top. Sometimes I find it easier to work in grays first so I can solidify where I want my shadows and lights to be without getting too complicated with colors right away. When I feel good about shadows, I'll fiddle with Color Balance to adjust the gray tones to warm shades of pinkish red/orange (or a base shade of whatever skin tone I want), and then I'll start layering colors with multiply. Let me know if you'd be interested in a future tutorial on grayscale to color because I'd love to show you guys!
