Here are some warmup sketches I drew while sitting in a cozy quiet library this weekend. I won't be posting these on Instagram, so they'll have a home here in the sketchbook feed! I've always felt like an artist's sketch lines can reflect how the artist was feeling when they were drawing; lines can look calm, sleepy, nervous, impatient, angry, peaceful, and so many other things. I love looking at other artists' sketches and trying to figure out what they were thinking or feeling π You might be able to tell that my sketch lines look a little energetic or "quick," and it's probably because I was feeling a little restless sitting in a library for several hours! π
Anywho, HUGE thanks to everyone that offered amazing tutorial suggestions for our upcoming tutorial poll!! You guys come up with the coolest ideas and I'm so excited to see which idea wins the vote for this month πβ¨ I will be posting the poll this week, so keep an eye out for it!! π

It can be really frustrating especially when the goal is to create a beautiful product! In those moments sometimes it helps me to think of sketching as study time. Simple doodling while listening to music is also a great start! π
