Here is a little sneak peak of what I will be posting tomorrow for the Inktober prompt, “Dark.” When I was a little kid, I was afraid of the dark and I remember wishing I had some kind of light with me at all times to comfort me, especially at night when it looked like my stuffed animals turned into big shadowy creatures 😂 I couldn’t wait for morning to come! Nowadays, I’m much less afraid of the dark but I still prefer the daytime and lots of light 💛 In this drawing, the bird represents a tiny sign of hope that light will return, just like the promise of the morning would comfort me a little when I was a kid. Hope you guys like it! ✨
On another note, I am feeling so burnt out from Inktober! Tonight I was working on another Inktober drawing and messed up on it, which can be discouraging, especially when I put time and effort into it. I’ll be showing you guys each mess-up piece that I’ve made this month in our Inktober Sketchbook Tour video at the end of this month, which will be so interesting because I never show my “bad” work! 😅
I’ve got some other upcoming goodies for you guys this month as well, and I appreciate your patience and amazing support through this busy month 💖
