It’s the start of a new week which means it’s time for a sneak-peak! Here is a digital sketch of a character I’m drawing for @anninosart’s #drawthisinyourstyle challenge ✨
I’ve attached his version here so you guys can see! 💖 He’s been a huge inspiration to me for as long as I’ve been on Instagram.
I’ve started with a relaxed grayscale sketch to focus on my values and textures before I start working on colors, which is a great warmup for me since Inktober kept me from using colors for a whole month and I feel a bit rusty! I’ve gotta say though, I am SO happy to be doing digital art again! 😊 I’ll be prepping a process video of this piece to post for patrons in the Big-Hearted Butterfly & Devoted Dragonfly tiers, and a layered PSD for all Dragonflies!
