- ✨ Important Reminder: For those of you who don’t know, I will be taking a month off starting in February, so you will not be charged for that month! So basically, you will be able to stay a patron without payment and continue to enjoy all the rewards I’ve posted 🤗 I will still post exclusive WIPs, sketches, and maybe even some step-by-steps, but I’ll be taking a break from the usual rewards. The reason I’m taking a little break is because I’m having a baby! 💛 My husband and I are super excited for this new chapter in our lives 🥳 I made an announcement post about it so if you’d like to know more, just look for the post with a doodle of baby yoda 🙈
Okay, now time to talk about this watercolor sketch! It’s been so cold outside lately and I’ve been craving springtime, so I decided to paint something with a bright and fluffy spring aesthetic 💕 I recorded a time lapse of this painting’s process which I will be posting on TikTok later today! This is so sweet and such an encouraging thing to see! 💛 My boy was born January 28th so he was so close to being a February baby too! ☺️ I totally empathize with those feelings of struggling to find time to balance drawing, work, and being a mom. It’s such a challenge, but I feel like it’s slowly getting easier as he gets older and that encourages me! 🥰 it’s such a beautiful journey 💛

Even at the exact same age. I had my son in early February 2020. Totally love seeing a mom rocking it all. I still struggle often with free time/drawing and being a mom. But at the same time it is also the most beautiful thing in life ✨
