May Tutorial Poll! ✨

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you're all enjoying your week so far :)

It's time to vote on this month's tutorial video!! We had SO many amazing suggestions and I've included them here for you all to vote on what you'd like to see this month 💛 This time you can vote for several options instead of just one, but only one will win! Keep on reading for some info about each of the options :)

• How to Draw Hands: This would be our very first hand tutorial on Patreon!! In art school my professors had us draw our own hands over 100 times (which was super exhausting) but I learned a lot. I'll be sharing some basic tips to help you guys draw hands in a way that doesn't need to be complicated by focusing on basic shapes and forms!
• How to Draw a Full Body Pose: This tutorial will focus on basic full body anatomy! I'll share some tips on how to draw the basic framework of the human body to help get you started on a full body illustration. We'll unpack the basics of body proportions, shapes, and the importance of gestures! 
• Lighting from Different Angles: In this tutorial, I'll show you guys how to paint different types of light on a character! Lighting is so important when it comes to adding an emotion or drama to a drawing, so I'll share a few different ways to paint it from different angles and perspectives.
• Rendering Eyes: This tutorial would be a good continuation from the April tutorial! I'll show you guys some really effective techniques on how to render eyes to look full of life and detail.
• Atmospheric Backgrounds: This tutorial will be all about how to paint a background that adds interest & mood to your character, using only color, texture, light, and other painting techniques. We'll focus on creating a background that doesn't overwork the drawing or look flat, but rather brings your drawing to life!
• Watercolor Tutorial: This will be a traditional art tutorial! I'll get out my brushes and watercolor paint and lead you step-by-step to create a watercolor mermaid.
