My Favorite Canvas Sizes! 💌✨

I get a lot of questions about what canvas sizes I use, so I thought it would be a good idea to share my two favorites with you guys! ☺️ These are the only ones I draw on and they work great vertically as well as horizontally! They’re both pretty large (especially the A3 size) but it allows for very crisp detail when rendering. I do downsize it before posting online, with the tallest side measuring 1350 px :) I hope you enjoy!!

RGB for artworks you only plan on posting online, and CMYK is for printing. You could use CMYK if you draw something and know for sure you will be printing that. If not, you can work with RGB and turning the document to CMYK before printing it and edit the colors to your liking.

2020-11-14 16:02:53 +0000 UTCI usually work on 3000x3000 because it won’t be cropped if I upload it on IG. But now I decided to not post anywhere. I just want to learn and draw for myself. So I’ll use these sizes from now. Thank you, Lydia! 🤍

2020-11-10 15:20:31 +0000 UTCYes! 🥰 I downsize it in photoshop! However if you don’t have photoshop you can do it in an app too, like “Image Size” and it’s free 🤗 but I have also uploaded my “Sketch Size” canvas to Instagram without downsizing and it still works great! 💛
