2021-03-08 00:15:32 +0000 UTCIโve seen and done it both ways were the grey scale is the first layer set to normal, or the flat layer is the first layer set to normal. Is there a specific reason why you prefer the grey scale to be the first layer instead of the one set to multiply?

2021-03-03 15:45:55 +0000 UTCYay Iโm so happy you enjoyed it!! ๐ I definitely get what you mean, when I first started out I felt way more comfortable with grayscale and so this method really helped me with coloring! โบ๏ธ Itโs cool though because after doing it for so long, I feel much more confident going straight to color if I feel like it ๐ I think this method helps with getting used to colors in a more comfortable way! ๐

I really wanted to try this technique because I am more comfortable with grayscale at the moment but I donโt want to do only grey paintings ๐ Iโll definitely try that on my next colored illustration!
