A Little Newsletter for You 💌 + What's Inspiring Me & April Rewards! ✨

Hello everyone and happy April!! 😍✨

It‘s a new month which means it’s time for all new content and lots of drawing 🥰✏️  I’ve got some fun things planned for this month and I’m excited to share it with all of you! 💛 Here you can see the basic plan for April, but as always you guys know that I love to make extra stuff throughout the month so this list is just a base standard hehe 🙈

At the start of each new month I like to sit down and write a little letter to you guys about things on my mind, what I’m planning for the month, etc. It’s also usually the time that I think about things I want to draw and I’ll work on gathering inspiration, and I thought I would share what’s been inspiring me lately and maybe it will inspire you too! ☺✨

Here‘s a little moodboard of an aesthetic that is really inspiring me lately! I love the look of bright orange/red tones with more muted colors to create a vibrant contrast 🍊 This clothing aesthetic is also my favorite at the moment, I just love the baggy & loose look with lots of folds! ☺️ I included some photos with hats because I tend to avoid drawing hats on my characters and that’s something I want to change this month 😌 I’m gonna try it out and probably use these as references for a character design some time this month! Hats are challenging for me but I’m gonna practice 😌✨

Here’s another moodboard with some florals and colors that have been inspiring my palettes lately 🌼 I want to study more plants and incorporate them into my work more often, especially since they add so much life & freshness! 🥰 If you look up floral photography on Pinterest you’ll find some very interesting color palette combinations, and they’re great to use as inspiration for colors in your own drawings! ✨ Whenever I can’t think of a good color scheme, flower photography is something that really helps me out ☺️

Fan art is another thing I want to get back into this month because I haven’t made any in a while! There are still quite a few Disney princesses I haven’t drawn yet, but I’ve also been feeling very inspired to draw a character from Harry Potter 🙈 There’s one particular character I’m planning on drawing from the movie series and you’ll get to see a sneak-peek  very soon 🙊🤞🏼

Anywho, this is such a long post so I’ll end it here hehe ☺️ I can’t wait to dive into all the content I have planned for this month and I’m excited you’re here with me for the journey 💛
