I’m excited to announce that I will be posting this month’s tutorial video TODAY 🥳✨ I put a lot of love and detail into the video which is why it took a little while!! 🙈 For those of you who saw this month’s studio vlog, remember when I showed you how I write my tutorial notes? The notes I wrote for this month’s tutorial were almost twice the length of the ones you saw in the video!! 😅 anywho, it’s currently uploading and I’m really excited to share it with all of you 🥰
In other news, Mermay is almost upon us which means a month full of mermaid art & aquatic themes! 😍 So I wanted to share a little sneak-peek of a mermaid I’m working on — and it’s going to be a Draw This in Your Style challenge! 🐬 I haven’t made a challenge in a long time, but I’ll be posting the finished colored version of this one in time for May ✨ So you guys are the first to hear about it! 🥰 She’s a mermaid who loves iced coffee 🧋✨

You can choose to follow a prompt list if you want to, (there are lots on Instagram, including an official list created by @tombancroft!) but other artists may choose not to follow a prompt list and just draw mermaids when they feel like it! 🥰 I’ll be drawing mermaids and aquatic themed drawings throughout the whole month! 💛
