A Little Newsletter to You 💌 + Things I want to do this month & May Rewards! 📝

Happy Saturday everyone and welcome to May! 😍 

It’s a beautiful sunny day where I live and the weather is nice and cool, so I’m sitting beside an open window at my desk while I write this to you 😌🌼 I always feel so inspired and ready to jump into new projects at the beginning of the month so I wanted to share some things that are inspiring me right now and what I’m planning for this month! ✏️
Since Mermay has officially started, I‘m going to be focusing on lots of water-themed art! I want to get creative with my mermaid designs this year and challenge my character design skills ✨ I have sooo many ideas but I want to keep some of them a surprise for you guys! 🥰

I also really want to dive back into some landscape studies, and these will all be water-themed as well! Here’s a little mood-board I made that has some inspiring references I’m thinking of using 🥰💌

Water can be a tricky thing to draw so I’m going to practice it a lot this month! 🥰 I’ve attached this mood board at the bottom of this post if you’d like to view it in high quality and save it for inspiration ✨ And I also created a board on Pinterest where I’ll be saving a bunch of references throughout the month, you can find it here! 🐟

I also have several ideas of step-by-step tutorials I want to make this month, so I’m thinking of making more than one hehe 🙈💭 They will involve water and mermaids, so hopefully they will be helpful to those of you who are also drawing mermaids and water-themed art this month!! 💌 

I am so excited to get started on all my plans for this month and share it with you guys! ☺️ It’s going to be a fun one 💛 I hope you all have a lovely & restful weekend!! Today I’m going to draw & relax before starting another productive week✨
