Since many of us are drawing mermaids for Mermay, I thought it would be fun to create a little step-by-step tutorial about upper body anatomy since that’s one of the major focuses of mermaids! 🥰 This tutorial will cover the essential shapes of the upper body, how to sketch it, and how to color & render it! ✨I hope you guys find it helpful ☺💛

I’ve been in an art slump for a bit and really wanted to indulge in something creative but wasn’t in a place where I could generate my own ideas and be satisfied, so thought today was the best day to try one of your tutorials for the first time, and omg I’m so happy with what I learned and how my first attempt ended up, your tutorials are honestly the best I’ve seen and they are so easy and enjoyable to follow. Thank you so much for allowing me to find a confidence and passion for digital painting that I haven’t truly had for a while!!
