Here is this month's draw with me video! ✨ In this video I'll be working on coloring my newest mermaid sketch and showing you the process :) I'll also be chatting with you about my thought process behind my color choices and rendering decisions while I draw, and also sharing a few coloring tips! 🖍 So grab a blanket and a snack or your tablet to draw with me, and I hope you enjoy! 🥰
✏️Brushes I used:
- Marker Multiply from Max Ulichney's Comic Maxpack on Gumroad
- A standard round brush in the painting section of Procreate
- Smooth Render (my custom modified round brush which you can download in this post!)

I love watching your process. I have a simple kinda odd question. Can you explain how you put your reference over Procreate so you can zoom in and out individually?

That’s definitely just a coincidence, because I have no problem showing you guys my brushes or colors! 😅 I’ll take note of that while editing future videos so you guys can see them! 💛 As for the chromatic aberration, I select the “Pencil” option instead of the layer option, and set my brush to an airbrush to paint on the chromatic effect while moving the circle around to get the desired effect! 😌

Looks like you edit the video without those shots hihi. I would be very interested to see them, but again, don’t know if you might have a reason or its just coincidence haha. 2. What do you you select when doing the chromatic aberation? How does it work
