Sketching Patterned Clothes 🌼✨ + steps & what I’m working on this week! πŸ’Œ

Hello everyone & happy Monday! ✨I hope you all had a lovely & relaxing weekend πŸ₯°

We spent the weekend with family, eating good food, sketching & relaxing πŸ₯˜ It was such a nice little break and now I’m excited to dive into a new week! 😍

Yesterday I decided to challenge myself with drawing a character in patterned clothing, which is something I rarely do because I’ve always found it to be a bit complex πŸ˜… I think the most challenging part will be the coloring phase, but I’m excited to try it out and see what happens! πŸ₯° I included the steps of my sketching process for this drawing along with the reference at the end ✨

I also screen-recorded the full sketching process for a real-time process video which we’ll start editing today! πŸ₯³ You’ll get to see my full screen while I draw and how I organize my layers, use brushes, and it will all be in real-time so you can watch the process at a slower pace ✨ stay tuned for it! 🎈

This week I’m also going to start filming a bonus video for all tiers about how I use digital gouache! πŸŽ₯✨After getting quite a few requests to film it I thought it would be a fun way to film a more chill & relaxed video for you guys πŸ₯° I’ll show you my favorite brushes from the gouache set, how to use them for different textures, and I’ll draw some fun things ✏️✨ The brush set I’ll be using is this one!

I’ll also be spending the next couple days finishing up the step-by-step tutorial about how to draw plants! πŸƒ I’m adding as much detail as possible to this one and having so much fun with it ☺️ It should be finished soon and I’ll post it this week! ✨
