Here’s an early look at an environment study I did today to practice & prepare for this month’s tutorial video which will be about environments! ✨
Before each tutorial I like to practice the subject so that I can take mental notes on things to cover in the video, and since environments are outside my comfort zone I definitely needed some time to really focus and study! 🙈 I learned a LOT from this desert study and I have so many fun ideas to put into the video for you guys! 😍 ahhh I can’t wait!

A few days ago I posted a poll to let you guys vote for the type of environment you’d like to study in the tutorial, and the environment that won the vote is this one! 🌲✨
So we will be studying a snowy mountain scene! 😍 In the video I’ll also be covering some essential environment techniques and rendering methods to get us started, and then we’ll do a full drawing walkthrough with voiceover from start to finish 🌄
Anywho, this week I’ll be writing notes & planning for the tutorial and then start filming next week some time 🥰 In the meantime, we’re also editing the November studio vlog and I’m sooo excited to share it with you!! I’ll share more details about it soon in another post since this one is getting kind of long! 🙈 but it’s gonna be a really fun one 🥰
