Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed your weekend π
On Friday I asked you guys to drop your suggestions for this month's tutorial video and there were so many comments!! π I love reading your ideas and all of them are so special & unique, so I spent some time this morning writing all of them down in Notion :) This poll includes some of the most popular requests, but all the other ideas are now in my notes so I have a better idea of what you guys want to see! Thanks so much to everyone who commented suggestions :) π
πHere's some brief info about each of the tutorial options this month!
- How to Draw Male Anatomy: This video would be our first male anatomy tutorial! I'll show you guys how to sketch male anatomy in full body poses as well as how to draw various body proportions with stylization. Together we'll work on sketching a full sheet of various male poses β¨
- Full Drawing Process Walkthrough: This tutorial will be a little different because it will be a slower & cozier video showing my full sketching & coloring process on a drawing from start to finish with voiceover to explain what I'm doing! If this option wins the vote, I'll post another poll for you guys to vote on my reference inspiration to use for the drawing β¨
- Composition Basics: In this tutorial I'll be covering the basics of composition and how to apply some composition techniques to a drawing! I'll show you guys how to create a balanced composition with visual interest in various drawing demos of characters and objects β¨
- Updated Hair Tutorial: Many of you know I made a tutorial about hair 2 years ago (in December 2020!) and I've learned a lot about hair since then! This would be an updated tutorial about how to draw hair, how to draw several different hairstyles, and how to create a layered look with detail, flow, and personality β¨
And that's it! π There were a few requests about hands as well, so I've decided to start working on a step-by-step tutorial sheet about how to draw hands for you guys too! I'll start working on that this week βΊοΈ

Jumping back in here to say I also agree with Genesis! Would love an assignment, it'd help solidify all the things. No pressure though! Im a Devoted Dragonfly tier but I'd be so open to joining a higher tier if it means you'll also critique drawings/assignments. πβ¨
