Early Look: Sketching Dress Studies ✏️👗✨ + what I’m currently working on 💭

Hello everyone!! I hope your day is going well so far :) 🧡

Here’s a sneak-peek of some dress studies I sketched yesterday to practice drawing folds and full-body poses ✨ Swipe to see the mood board I made for reference inspiration! 😌 I decided to sketch some dresses because I love how they flow and move, and it’s super great practice for loosening up your line work! Feel free to use my mood board if you’d like to try sketching some too! ☺️

I screen-recorded the full sketching process so I’ll be posting that very soon as a real-time process video 🎞 This way you guys will get to see the drawing process at a slower pace and see how I work with layers, brushes, and build each sketch step by step :) I’m also thinking of recording the coloring process for these too! I’m trying to decide if I want to use a monochromatic color palette for a more simplistic aesthetic or if I want to use different colors for each dress 🤔💭
