Early Look: Mermaid Sketch 🐠✨ + what I’m up to! ✏️

Hello everyone!! I hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend :)

Here’s a little sneak-peek of a mermaid sketch I’ve been working on, inspired by the reference you guys voted for this past week! I’ve started coloring her and I’ll show it to you soon 🥰

I’ve also been screen-recording the full sketching and coloring process so you guys will get to see a real-time process video of the drawing! I’ll probably post the sketching process and the coloring process separately in two different videos since it’s a long process hehe 🤍 so I’ll be posting those this week!

Also stay tuned for a new step-by-step tutorial about how to draw waves which I’ll be posting for you guys on Monday 💌

It’s a little walkthrough about how to render waves from sketch to finish based on my wave studies you saw a few days ago :)

In other news, I’m currently on a little beach trip with my sister! ⛅️

It’s the first trip we’ve done just the two of us and I haven’t been to the coast in sooo long, so I’m enjoying it quite a lot 😍 The weather is really moody and cloudy so it feels peaceful here ☁️
