Sketching a Mermaid ✏️✨ Real-Time Drawing Process!

Hi everyone! :) 🧡

Here is a real-time drawing video of sketching a mermaid based on a fun reference pose! I really enjoyed the sketching process of this piece 😌

I started coloring this drawing a few days ago, but for some reason as I began to color the drawing I started to really dislike it and faced some art block; it was one of those moments where it felt like I forgot how to draw haha 🙈 I kept working on the drawing even though I felt frustrated with it, because sometimes I can turn the piece around and feel better about it; but after a while I felt like I was spending so much time on something I didn't like and I'd rather be creating more things that I feel happy about :)

As a result, today I started sketching something else that I feel soooo much better about, which I shared with you guys a little earlier today! I'll be screen-recording the coloring process of that drawing so you guys will get a nice relaxed coloring process video 🥰

So yeah hehe anyway I hope you guys enjoy this little sketching video 🧡 It was a good reminder for me that some drawings can be better as sketches, and it's okay if you move on to other work that makes you feel happier! I hope you enjoy :)
