Here are my finished floral mermaids! I had so much fun coloring these because I wanted to experiment with a more vintage color palette, since I’m not used to painting with yellows and greens very much ☺️
As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I screen-recorded the full coloring & rendering process of this drawing for a real-time process video and it will be posted this week for all Big-Hearted Butterflies & Devoted Dragonfly patrons! 💌
In other news, our tutorial poll closed yesterday and we have our topic for the month! 😍
And it looks like the topic that won the vote for this month is… how to create stylized fan art! 🥳 So now I’ll be spending the next few weeks preparing notes and planning for the tutorial video, and I can’t wait to dive into this topic with you guys because fan art is seriously one of my favorite things to draw!! So excited 🥰
