Early Look: Portrait Practice ✏️🤍 + what I’m up to! ✨

Hello everyone!! I hope you’re all having a happy week so far :)

Here’s an early look at some portrait practice I’ve been working on while we’ve been on our trip in the mountains! ✏️🏔 I’m planning on coloring it but I liked how the grayscale was turning out so I wanted to share it with you :)

I filmed the process of this one for this month’s studio vlog as well! So you guys will get to see it in that video 🤍 I’ve been filming our whole trip here in the mountains for the vlog and capturing all the pretty moments and I can’t wait to show it to you!! It’s been so refreshing to work in a new space for the past few days 🥰

We’ll be driving back home on Thursday this week and once we get home I’ll be posting a real-time process video of my recent sculpture sketch for you guys 💌 I’ve also been working on a new step-by-step tutorial for you and I’ll be showing you some sneak-peeks soon! ✨

I‘ve been sharing some photos of our trip on my Insta stories but I’ll share some more with you here in this post too! ☺️ 

We stayed in an Airbnb with the prettiest balcony view of the mountains! 😍

The house has perfect cozy vibes for drawing and feeling creative 🏡

On the first day we did some hiking in the afternoon and hiked all the way to the top of a mountain! It rained for most of the hike hehe but then the rain stopped when we reached the top and it looked like we were in a cloud ☁️

Then we explored a pretty little mountain town to get dinner and walk around :)

The town is called Blowing Rock in North Carolina and it’s one of my favorite places to visit because we used to live here a few years ago, so it feels very nostalgic every time we come back 🥰

Anywho, I’m excited to get back home tomorrow and get started on some fun things for you guys!! I hope you’re all doing well and staying safe & cozy 🤍
